May Day -Salute To Every Hardworking And Dedicated Worker

International Labour Day, also known as "May Day" and "International Day of Demonstrations and Marches", is a national holiday in over 80 countries worldwide. It is celebrated every year on May 1st and is a day that belongs to all workers around the world.

During the 18th and 19th centuries, the development of the industrial revolution led to the rise and growth of the working class, but they also faced injustices and exploitation. To protect the rights of workers, they often held protests such as strikes and marches. Some workers' leaders decided to unite with labor unions and organizations from all over the world to fight for workers' rights, which led to the concept of International Workers' Day.

In July 1889, the Second International led by Engels held a congress in Paris. The conference passed a resolution to hold a march by international workers on May 1st, 1890, and decided to designate May 1st as International Labour Day.

In December 1949, the Central People's Government State Council made the decision to establish May 1st as Labor Day. Since 1989, the State Council has basically recognized around 3,000 national labor models and advanced workers every five years.
